SUMMER PROGRAM

Students are given the opportunity to live in a dormitory on the University of California, Berkeley campus.  Upward Bound counselors live with the students and provide supervision and guidance throughout the six-week session.  The summer session is a comprehensive program that includes classes in English, math and one academic elective; evening tutorial sessions; workshops of social and cultural significance; and organized recreational activities.
